Valbin Corporation is seeking surge based Battlefield Effects (BFE) Tech’s to support coordination and delivery of Army training programs. The ideal candidate will have experience within the Battlefield Effects arena, a strong mechanical aptitude, or previous military / police / paramedic / Emergency Response experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Able to identify and move to specific locations on a map.
- Able to safely operate a 3/4 ton (Ford F250, Ram 2500) truck.
- Able to communicate and receive direction utilizing military / civilian radio systems.
- Able to safely operate Battlefield Effects simulators utilizing compressed air, CO2, propane/oxygen, pyrotechnics, and Fullers Earth styled products.
- Conducts Lane Training support as directed.
- Maintains positive control over all BFE / BFI resources.
- Able to walk up to two miles over rough terrain during day or limited light conditions, and during all types of weather.
- Able to lift items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Able to move multiple items weighing up to 80lbs, 1/2 mile via a terrain carrying system (backpack (~40lbs), or pullable wheeled hauler (~80lbs).
- Able to operate in close proximity to blank weapons firing.
- Able to follow the guidance of assigned team leaders and/or military personnel.
- Reports to the shift BFE Lead (Field / Beach).
Minimum Job Requirements
- US Citizen, 18 years or older.
- Valid Real ID Drivers License
- Required to access all military bases
